日常생활에 智慧와 믿음을 주시는 말씀-24

”Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding,

for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.“

(잠 3:13-14)

yields better returns than gold: 금이주는 수익보다 더 많은 수익

yields: 산출하다,생산하다:

 

”지혜를 얻은 사람, 명철을 얻은 사람은 복이 있나니, 이는 은보다 더 이익이 되고,

금보다 더 나은 수익을 주기 때문이라. “.“

 

24번째, 마태복음 5장31절부터 시작합니다.

31.It has been said, Anyone who divorces his wife must give  her a

certificate of divorce.

It has been said:

말씀 하시길를

divorces: 이혼, 이연, 별거(limited)

Ex: He wɑs divorced from his wife.

      그는 처와 이혼했다.

a certificate of divorce: 이혼증서

또 일렀으되, 누구든지 아내를 버리려거든 이혼 증서를 줄 것이라 하였으나

 

결혼, 이혼, 결별, 재혼.

Marriage(결혼)

Ex: Their marriage ceremony was held in a beautiful garden.

      그들의 결혼식은 아름다운 정원에서 열렸다.

 

Divorce(이혼)

Ex: After years of conflict, they finally decided to get a divorce.

      수년간의 갈등 끝에 그들은 결국 이혼하기로 결정했다.

 

Separation, Breakup (결별)

Ex: The band announced their separation after ten years together.

      그 밴드는 10년 활동 후 결별을 발표했다.

      She was heart broken after the breakup with her boyfriend.

     그녀는 남자친구와의 결별 후 큰 상심에 빠졌다.

 

Remarriage(재혼)

Ex: He found happiness again through remarriage.

     그는 재혼을 통해 다시 행복을 찾았다.

 

32.But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for  marital

unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who

marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

marital unfaithfulness: 결혼에서의 불성실함, 부정행위 또는 간통.

adulteress: 간음한 여자, 즉 간통을 저지른 여성.

남성의 경우는 adulterer.

그러나 나는 너희에게 말한다. 누구든지 음행의 이유 외에 아내를 버리는 자는

그녀로 하여금 간음하게 하며, 또 이혼한 여자와 결혼하는 자도 간음을 범하는

것이다.

 

33.Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do

not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have  made to the Lord.

또 옛사람에게 말한 바, 너는 맹세를 깨뜨리지 말고, 주께 한 맹세는 지켜라

하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나

 

34.But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's

throne;

God's throne:

하나님의 절대적인 권위와 통치의 자리(보좌)

Do not swear:

맹세를 하지 말라

그러나 나는 너희에게 말한다. 절대 맹세하지 말라. 하늘로도 하지 말라.

이는 하나님의 보좌이기 때문이다.

 

해설:

맹세를 통해 자신의 말을 보증하려 하지 말고, 진실하게 말하는 삶 자체가

중요하다는 뜻

 

35.or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the

city of the Great King.

또 땅으로도 하지 말라. 이는 하나님의 발판이기 때문이다. 또 예루살렘으로

도 하지 말라. 이는 위대한 왕의 성이기 때문이다.

 

해설:

footstool(발판)footstool(발판) 왕이 보좌에 앉을 때 발을 올려놓는 받침대를 의미하며,

하나님의 권위 아래에 있는 피조 세계를 상징.

Jerusalem(예루살렘)

city of the Great King(위대한 왕의 성)하나님께서 다스리시는 거룩한 도시라는 의미.

즉, 인간이 맹세의 근거로 삼을 수 없는 거룩한 영역들을 예로 들며 맹세를 행하지말고

대신에 진실하게 살아가라는 가르침이시다.
