                           사도행전 28장 重要 문항들 再整理

 

1)28:1

Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta.

 

우리가 안전하게 육지에 도착하자, 그 섬이 말타라고 불리는 것을 알게 되었다.

 

2)28:4

When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other,

"This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, Justice has

not allowed him to live.“

 

섬 주민들이 그의 손에 매달려 있는 뱀을 보고 서로 말했다,이 사람은 틀림없이 살인자다;

그는 바다에서는 탈출했지만, 정의는 그가 살 도록 허락하지 않았다.

 

3)28:5

But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects..

 

그러나 바울은 뱀을 불속으로 털어냈고, 아무런 해도 입지 않았다.

 

4)28:6

The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead, but after waiting a

long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds

and said he was a god.

 

사람들은 그가 부풀어 오르거나 갑자기 죽을 것을 기대했지만, 오랫동안 기다려도 그

에게 아무런 이상이 생기지 않는 것을 보고 그들의 생각을 바꾸어 그를 신이라고 말했

습니다.

 

5)28:8

His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to

see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him.

 

그의 아버지는 열과 이질로 인해 병상에 누워 있었다. 바울이 그를 보러 들어가 기도한

후에 그에게 손을 얹어 치유했다.

 

6)28:15

The brothers there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as

the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. At the sight of these men

Paul thanked God and was encouraged.

 

그곳의 형제들은 우리가 온다는 소식을 듣고, 우리를 만나기 위해 아피우스 포룸과 세

여관까지 여행해 왔으며. 바울은 이 사람들을 보고 하나님께 감사드리며 용기를 얻었다.

 

7)28:17

Three days later he called together the leaders of the Jews. When they had

assembled, Paul said to them: "My brothers, although I have done nothing against

our people or against thecustoms of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem

and handed over to the Romans.

 

3일후 바울은 유대 지도자들을 모이게 했다. 그들이 모였을 때 바울 은 말하길 형제들이여,

나는 우리 민족이나 조상의 관습에 반하는일을 한 적이 없으나, 예루살렘에서 체포되어 로

마인들에게 넘겨졌습니다.

 

8)28:18

They examined me and wanted to release me, because I was not guilty of any

crime deserving death.

 

그들이 나를 심문하였고, 나는 사형에 해당하는 죄가 없었기 때문에 나를 석방하려 했

습니다.

 

9)28:23

They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to

the place where he was staying. From morning till evening he explained and

declared to them the kingdom of God and tried to convince them about Jesus from

the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.

 

그들은 바울과 만나기로 약속했고, 더 많은 사람들이 그가 머물고 있는 곳으로 왔습니다.

바울은 아침부터 저녁까지 하나님의 나라를 설명하고 선포하며, 모세의 율법과 예언자들

이 언급한 예수에 대해 설득 하려고 했습니다.

 

10)28:31

Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about

the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

그는 담대하게 그리고 아무런 방해 없이 하나님의 나라를 전파하고 주 예수 그리스도에

대해 가르쳤다.

 

사람들을 종류별로 나눈다면 ?

 

선한 사람 (Good Person):

Kind-hearted:

She is a kind-hearted person who always helps others.

(그녀는 항상 다른 사람들을 돕는 친절한 사람이다)

Benevolent:

His benevolent nature makes him beloved by everyone.

(그의 자비로운 본성은 그를 모두에게 사랑받게 만들었다)

Compassionate:

A compassionate individual, she volunteers at the local shelter.

(자비로운 사람인 그녀는 지역 쉼터에서 자원봉사를 한다)

 

악한 사람 (Evil Person):

Malevolent:

The malevolent villain plotted to harm the hero.

(악의적인 악당은 영웅을 해치려는 음모를 꾸몄다)

Malicious:

His malicious actions caused a lot of pain to others.

(그의 악의적인 행동은 다른 사람들에게 많은 고통을 주었다)

Wicked:

The wicked witch cast a spell on the village.

(사악한 마녀가 마을에 마법을 걸었다)

 

미련한 사람 (Foolish Person):

Foolish:

It was foolish of him to ignore the warning signs.

(경고 신호를 무시한 것은 어리석은 일이었다)

Silly:

She made a silly mistake that cost her the game.

(그녀는 어리석은 실수를 해서 게임을 망쳤다)

Unwise:

His unwise decisions led to many problems.

(그의 현명하지 못한 결정은 많은 문제를 초래했다)

 

무식한 사람 (Ignorant Person):

Ignorant:

He is ignorant of the basic facts about the topic.

(그는 주제에 대한 기본적인 사실에 대해 무지하다)

Uninformed:

The uninformed voter made a poor choice.

(정보가 없는 유권자는 잘못된 선택을 했다)

Uneducated:

She remained uneducated about the importance of health.

(그녀는 건강의 중요성에 대해 여전히 교육을 받지 못했다)

 

현명한 사람 (Wise Person):

Wise:

The wise elder shared his knowledge with the younger generation.

(현명한 장로는 자신의 지식을 젊은 세대와 공유했다)

Sage:

The sage advice of the mentor guided him through tough times.

(멘토의 현명한 조언이 그를 힘든 시기를 헤쳐가게 했다)

Prudent:

Her prudent decisions helped the company succee

(그녀의 신중한 결정은 회사가 성공하는 데 도움이 되었다)
