 "in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

 네가 하는 모든 일에서 주님을 인정하여라. 그러면 주님께서 네가 가는길을 곧게 하실 것이다

                             英語聖經을 쉽게 解釋, 解說 합니다

                             사도행전 27章36節 부터 시작합니다. 

 

36.They were all encouraged and ate some food themselves.

그러자 사람들은 모두 용기를 얻어서 음식을 먹었다.

 

37.Altogether there were 276 of us on board.

 

배에 탄 우리의 수는 모두 이백일흔여섯 명이었다.

 

고대 로마시대의 배 크기는 ?(무려 276명이 탑승)

38.When they had eaten as much as they wanted, they lightened the ship

by throwing the grain into the sea.

 

사람들이 음식을 배부르게 먹은 뒤에, 남은 식량을 바다에 버려, 배를 가볍게 하였다

 

39.When daylight came, they did not recognize the land, but they saw a bay

with a sandy beach, where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.

 

날이 새니, 어느 땅인지는 알 수 없지만, 모래밭이 있는 항만이 보였다. 그래서 그들은

어떻게 해서든지, 배를 거기로 몰아 해변에 대기로작정하였다.

 

40.Cutting loose the anchors, they left them in the sea and at the same time

untied the ropes that held the rudders. Then they hoisted the foresail to the

wind and made for the beach.

닻을 모두 끊어서 바다에 버리고, 동시에 키를 묶은 밧줄을 늦추었다. 그리고 앞 돛을

올려서, 바람을 타고 해안 쪽으로 들어갔다.

 

41.But the ship struck a sandbar and ran aground. The bow stuck fast and would

not move, and the stern was broken to pieces by the pounding of the surf.

그런데 두 물살이 합치는 곳에 끼여들어서, 배가 모래톱에 걸려 선수는 박혀서 움직

이지 않고, 선미는 심한 물결에 부서졌다. 

 

42.The soldiers planned to kill the prisoners to prevent any of them from

swimming away and escaping.

 

병사들은 죄수들이 혹시 헤엄 쳐 도망할까봐, 그들을 죽여 버릴 계획을 세웠다. 

 

43.But the centurion wanted to spare Paul's life and kept them from carrying

out their plan. He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and

get to land.

그러나 백부장은 바울을 구하려고 병사들의 의도를 막고, 헤엄 칠 수있는 사람들은

먼저 뛰어내려서, 뭍으로 올라가라고 명령하였다

 

해설:

하나님은 믿지 않는 자를 통해서도 자신의 뜻을 이루십니다. 백부장을 통해 바울을 보호하신 것이

그 예가되며 이는 바울의 신실한 태도가 백부장의 마음을 움직였고, 이는 생명을 구하는 결과로

이어졌다. 이것은 또한 백부장 자신의 권한을 사용해 무고한 생명을 보호했으며 이는 지도자가 가져

야 할 올바른 판단과 책임감을 보여주는 대목이기도하다. 

 

44.The rest were to get there on planks or on pieces of the ship. In this way

everyone reached land in safety.

그리고 그 밖의 사람들은 널빤지나, 부서진 배 조각을 타고 뭍으로 나가라고 명령하였다.
