Matthew(마태복음)해석, 해설 - 16번째

日常에 智慧와 믿음을 주시는 말씀-16

 

“For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it;

but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the  unfaithful will be torn

from it”.(잠 2:21-22)

the upright:정직한 자, 올바른 자. the blameless: 흠 없는 자, 온전한 자

the wicked: 악한 자, 불의한 자. the unfaithful: 불성실한 자, 배신한 자

 

“정직한 사람들은 그 땅에 거하며, 흠, 없는 사람들은 그곳에 남아 있을 것이다.

그러나 악한 자들은 그 땅에서 끊어지고, 불성실한, 자들은 그곳에서 뽑혀 나갈

것이다.”

 

16번째, 마태복음 4장 16절부터 시작합니다.

16.the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living

in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.

dawned:

새벽, 빛이 비치다

 

어둠 속에 살던 사람들이 큰 빛을 보았으며, 죽음의 그늘진 땅에 사는 이들에게

빛이 떠올랐다.

 

해설:

영적으로 어두운 시대와 지역에 하나님의 구원이 임했다는 것을 보여주고 있는

내용이다.

 

17.From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the  kingdom of

heaven is near.

그때부터 예수님은 ‘회개하라! 하늘나라가 가까이 왔다’고 전파하기 시작하셨다.

 

18.As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers,

Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into

the lake, for they werefishermen.

예수께서 갈릴리 바닷가를 지나가시다가 시몬이라 하는 베드로와 그의 형제 안드레

두 사람을 보셨다. 그들은 어부였기 때문에 바다에 그물을 던지고 있었다.

 

19."Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers  of men.“

나를 따라오너라. 내가 너희를 사람을 낚는 어부가 되게 하리라.

 

20.At once they left their nets and followed him.

그들은 곧 그물을 버려두고 예수를 따랐다.

 

해설:

이 짧은 구절, 순종과 결단의 의미를 담고 있다. 예수님의. 부르심 앞에서 망설임

없이 삶의 기반이던 그물을 내려놓고 새로운 길을 선택한 제자들의 모습은, 오늘날

우리에게도 믿음과 헌신에 대해 강한 울림을 주고 있는 대목이라 하겠다.
