마태복음 해석,해설 - 8번째

日常에 智慧와 믿음을 주시는 말씀-8

“For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the

complacency  of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens

to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

(잠1:32-33)

waywardness:

고집스러움, 제멋대로임, 방종.

complacency:

자기만족, 안일함, 현실에 안주함

 

“어리석은 자들은 제 고집대로 하다가 죽을 것이며 미련한 자들은 자만 하다가

망할것이지만 그러나,내 말을 듣는 자들은 아무 두려움 없이 편안하고 안전하게

살 것 이다.”

 

8번째, 마태복음 2장11절부터 시작합니다.

11.On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother  Mary, and

they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures

and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.

예수님이 있는 집에 도착한 순간.

단순한 인사가 아니라, 경배의 행위

gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh:

세 가지 예물(황금, 향료, 몰약)

그들이 집에 들어가서, 아기가 그의 어머니 마리아와 함께 있는것을 보고, 엎드려

그에게 경배하였다.그리고 그들의 보물 상자를 열어 황금과 유향과 몰약을 예물로

드렸다

 

황금(Gold): 왕의 권위와 존귀함

유향(Frankincense, incense): 신성함과 제사장적 역할

몰약(Myrrh): 고난과 죽음을 상징 (장례에 사용되던 향료)

 

12.And having been warned in a dreamn not to go back to Herod, they

returned to their country by another route.

having been warned in a dreamn:

꿈에서 경고를 받았기 때문에

having been + 과거분사(warned): 완료 수동 즉, 과거에 경고를 받

은 일이 이미 완료된 상태(경고를 받고있는 상태).

그들은 꿈에 헤롯에게 돌아가지 말라는 지시를 받고, 다른 길로 자기 나라로

돌아갔다.

 

해설:

동방 박사들이 하나님의 인도하심을 꿈을 통해 받았고, 그에 따라 헤롯 에게

돌아가지 않고 다른 길로 귀국했다는 말인데 이것은 단순한 사실을 넘어서,

하나님의 보호와 순종의 상징으로도 해석될 수 있다.

 

13.When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to  Joseph in a

dream. "Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to

Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for  Herod is going to search for the child

to kill him.“

그들이 떠난 후, 주의 천사가 요셉에게 꿈에 나타나 말하길 ”일 어나라. 아기와

그의 어머니를 데리고 이집트로 피신하라. 내가 너에게 말할 때까지 거기 머물러

있어라.헤롯이 그 아기를 찾아 죽이려 하고 있다.”

 

14.So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for

Egypt,

그래서 요셉은 일어나, 밤에 아기와 그의 어머니를 데리고 이집트로 떠났다.

 

15.where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what

the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of  Egypt I called my son.“

그가 헤롯이 죽을 때까지 거기에 머물렀다. 이는 주께서 선지자를 통하여 말씀

하신 바 ‘내가 내 아들을 애굽에서 불러내었다’ 하신 것을 이루려 함이라.

 

해설:

호세아 11장 1절의 예언, “내가 내 아들을 애굽에서 불러내었다”라는말씀이

성취된 사건이다.
