        오늘은 180번째 요한복음 19장 36절부터 시작합니다..

 

36.These things happened so that the scripture would be

fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken,"

 

so that+주어 +will/can; ~ 하기위해

Not one of his bones will be broken:

그의 뼈가 하나도 부러지지 않았다

(이 일이 일어난 것은 그의 뼈가 하나도 꺾이지 아니하였다 라는성경말씀이

이루워 지기 위해서이다)

 

“그의 모든 뼈를 보호하심이여 그 중에서 하나도 꺾이지 아니하도 다”

(시편34:20)

 

37.and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one

they have pierced."

그들이 구멍을 낸 사람을 볼것이다

(또 다른 성경에는 이런 말씀도 있다.'그들은 자기들이 찌른 자를 바라볼 것이다)

 

38.Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of

Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly

because he feared the Jews. With Pilate's permission, he

came and took the body away.

(아리마대 사람 요셉은 예수의 시체를 가저가게해 달라고 요청했 다. 요셉은

예수님의 제자였지만 유대인이 두려워 그것을숨기고 있 었다. 빌라도가 허락하자

이에 가서 예수의 시체를 수습했다)

 

해설:

유대 지도자들을 두려워했던 예수의 제자 아리마테의 요셉이 로마총독 빌라도에게

부탁하여 허락받고, 예수의 시신을거두었다. 강성 유대인들의 위협적인두려움에도

불구하고 예수님이제대로 매장될 수 있도록 조치를했으며 이는 예수님의 가르침이

신도들에게 미친 영향과 그들이 기꺼이 감수하고자 했던 결과였다.

 

39.He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier

had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of

myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.

accompanied: 동반하다, 동행하다

His wife accompanied him on the trip.

그 여행에는 그의 아내가 그와 동행했다.

mixture of myrrh:

몰약(향료에 쓰임)

aloes: 알로에

75 pound : 1 pound는 약 453그램 따라서 75 X 452 =

34/Kg

(일찍이 예수께 밤에 찾아왔던 니고데모도 몰약과 침향 섞은 것을 백 리트라쯤

가지고왔다.)

 

40.Taking Jesus' body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices,

in strips of linen. This was in accordance with  Jewish burial customs.

유대인들 장례 예법에 따라

(이에 예수의 시체를 가져다가 유대인의 장례 법대로 그 향품과 함께 세마포로 쌌다)

 

해설:

예수님이 십자가에 못 박혀 죽은 뒤 아리마테의 요셉과 니코데모가 예수님의 시신을

가져다가 향료와함께 린넨(삼베) 조각으로 감쌌는데 이것은 유대인의 매장 관습이 였다.

시체를 천으로 감싼다는 것 은 파리나 곤충을 방지 하는 방법이었으며 향신료는 시체를

보존하고 부패 냄새를 억제하기 위한 방법이였다. 그가 죽은후에 행 해진존경과 보살핌

을 보여주는 사건이라 하겠다.

 

41.At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in

the garden a new tomb, in which no one  had ever been laid.

누구도 뉘이지 않았던

(예수께서 십자가에 못 박히신 곳에 동산이 있고 동산 안에 아직 사람을 장사한 일이

없는새 무덤이 있었다)

 

42.Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since

the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

십자가에 달리신 예수님, 아무리 대속의 현장 이라고는 하지만 참 으로

고통 스럽고 괴로운 일이였을 것이다.
