1.Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany,

where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사로가 있는 곳이다)

 

해설: The Passover(유월절)

이 유월절의 뜻은 출애굽기 12장 13절에 나타나 있느데 내가 피를

볼 때에 너희를 넘어 가리니(pass over),재앙이 너희에게 내려 멸하

지 아니하리라(이에 근거하는 레위기 23장 4-5에는 유월절 절기를

지킬 것을명하고 있다)

이집트에서 이스라엘 민족이 노예 상태에서 탈출한 것을 기념하는

유대인의 주요 명절이다.

was among those reclining at the table with  him.

3.Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive  perfume;

she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet  with her hair. And

the house was filled with the fragrance  of the perfume.
