       오늘은 176번째 요한복음 19장16절부터 시작 합니다.

 

16.Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So  the

soldiers took charge of Jesus.

 

handed~ over: 넘겨주다.

to be crucified:

십자가에 밖히도록

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus:

병정들은 예수님을 집행 했다

(이에 예수를 십자가에 못 박도록 그들에게 넘겨 주었다)

 

17.Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the  Skull

(which in Aramaic is called Golgotha).

자신의 십자가를 지니고

the place of the Skull:

해골이라 부르는곳

(그들이 예수를 맡으매 예수께서 자기의 십자가를 지시고 해골（히브리 말로 골고다）

이라 하는 곳에 나가셨다)

 

18.Here they crucified him, and with him two others—one on  each side

and Jesus in the middle.

 

Here는 접두사 로서 이것, 지금, 여기 라는 뜻의 연결형

crucified: 십자가에 매달아 죽이다

(그들이 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박을때 다른 두 사람도 그와함께 좌우편에 못 박히니

예수는 가운데 있었다)

 

19.Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It  read:

|sc JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THEJEWS.

 

a notice: 통지문, 계, -장.

prepared and fastened:

준비하고 묶다

JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS :

나사렛 예수, 유대인의 왕

(빌라도는 또한 명패도 써서, 십자가에 붙였다. 그 명패에는 '유대 인의왕 나사렛

사람 예수' 라고 썼다)

 

20.Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was

crucified was near the city, and the sign was  written in Aramaic,

Latin and Greek.

 

written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek:

희브리(Aramaic), 로마(Latin), 헬라(Greek)어로 쓰여젔다

Many of the Jews:

많은 유대인들

(예수께서 못 박히신 곳이 성에서 가까운 고로 많은 유대인들이 이 패를 읽는데
