오늘은 167번째 요한복음 18장 16절부터 시작합니다.

 

16.but Peter had to wait outside at the door. The other disciple,who

was known to the high priest, came back, spoke to the girl on duty

there and brought Peter in.

 

who was known to the high priest:

대제사장을 알고 있는 사람.

spoke to the girl on duty there:

그곳을 담당하는 여자에게 말하다

(베드로는 문 밖에 서 있는지라 대제사장을 아는 그 다른 제자가나가서 문 지키는

여자에게 말하여 베드로를 데리고 들어왔다)

 

17.You are not one of his disciples, are you?" the girl at the  door asked

Peter. He replied, "I am not."

 

You are not one of his disciples, are you?"

당신은 그의 제자가 아니냐 ? 안그래 ?

(문 지키는 여종이 베드로에게 말하길 너도 이 사람의 제자 중하나 가 아니냐 하니

그가 나는 아니다 라고 대답했다)

 

18.It was cold, and the servants and officials stood around a  fire they

had made to keep warm. Peter also was standing  with them, warming

himself.

(그 때가 추운 고로 종과 아랫사람들이 불을 피우고 서서 쬐니 베 드로도 함께 서서

쬐고 있었다)

 

19.Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and

his teaching.

the high priest:

대 제사장

(대제사장이 예수에게 그의 제자들과 그의 교훈에 대하여 물자)

 

20."I have spoken openly to the world," Jesus replied. "I  always taught

in synagogues or at the temple, where all  the Jews come together.

I said nothing in secret.

나는 세상에 대고 공개적으로 말했다

 

(예수께서 대답하시길 나는 드러내 놓고 세상에 말하였다. 모든유대인들이 모이는

회당과 성전에서 항상 가르쳤고 비밀리에는 아 무 것도 말하지 아니하였다)

       오늘은 168번째 요한복음 18장21절부터 시작합니다.

21.Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they  know

what I said."

Ask those who heard me:

내게서 듣은 사람들 에게 물어라

Surely they know what I said.":

그들은 내가 뭘 말했는지 확실히 안다

(어찌하여 내게 묻느냐 내가 무슨 말을 하였는지 들은 자들에게 물

어 보라 그들이 내가 하던 말을 알고 있다)

 

22.When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby struck him in

the face. "Is this the way you answer the high  priest?" he demanded.

struck him in the face:

그의 얼굴을 내리 첬다

(이 말씀을 하시니 곁에 섰던 아랫사람 하나가 손으로 예수의 얼굴을 치며 말하길

네가 대제사장에게 이같이 대답하느냐 하니)

 

23."If I said something wrong," Jesus replied, "testify as to  what is wrong.

But if I spoke the truth, why did you  strike me?“

 

testify as to what is wrong:

무엇이 잘못된 것인지를 말해봐라

if I spoke the truth:

내가 만일에 진실을 말했다면

(예수께서 대답하시되 내가 말을 잘못하였으면 그 잘못한 것을 증 언하라 바른

말을 하였으면 네가 어찌하여 나를 치느냐 하니)

 

24.Then Annas sent him, still bound, to Caiaphas the high  priest.

 

still bound:

묶힌채로

(안나스가 예수를 결박한 그대로 대제사장 가야바에게 보냈다)

 

25.As Simon Peter stood warming himself, he was asked,"You are not

one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it, saying, "I am not."

베드로가 불을 쬐이면서

he was asked:

질문을 받았다
