Acts(사도행전), 20번째

           英語 聖經을 쉽게 解釋하고 解說 합니다.                                    

                    오늘은3장11절 부터 시작 합니다. 

"Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well"

cistern :저수지, 물탱크.

   (네 자신의 샘 물을 마시고, 네 자신의 우물에서 흐르는 물을 마셔라)잠5:15

 

11.While the beggar held on to Peter and John, all the  people were

astonished and came running to them in theplace called Solomon's

Colonnade.

hold on to: 에 매달리다, 의지하다, 고수하다, 계속 보유하다

Ex: to hold on to the banister

     난간을 잡다

     You should hold on to your oil shares.

     (당신은 석유 주식들을 계속 보유하셔야 합니다)

the beggar held on to Peter and John:

거지는 베드로와 요한에게 의지 하였다.

all the people were astonished:

모든 사람들이 깜짝 놀랐다

came running to them:

그들에게 달려왔다:

 

그 거지가 베드로와 요한을 붙잡고 있을 때, 모든 사람들이 놀라서

솔로몬의 행각이라 불리는 곳으로 달려갔다.

 

12.When Peter saw this, he said to them: "Men of Israel, why does

this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by

our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

as if: 인 것처럼, 흡사 …와도 같이

stare at us: 응시하다, 빤히 보다

Ex: He stared me in the face.

       (그는 내 얼굴을 빤히 쳐다보았다)

as if by our own power or godliness:

마치 우리의 능력이나 경건함으로

 

베드로는 그 사람들을 보고말하였다. “이스라엘 형제여러분,왜 이

사람을 보고 놀랍니까? 왜 우리를 유심히 쳐다봅니까? 우리가 무슨

능 력이 있거나 경건해서 이 사람을 걷게 하여준줄로 생각합니까?

 

13.The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our  fathers,

has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him  over to be killed,

and you disowned him before Pilate,though he had decided to let

him go.

handed him over:

인계했다, 넘겼다.

Ex: They handed him over to the police.

      (그들은 그를 경찰에 인계했다)

disowned him before Pilate:

빌라도 에게 그를 버렸다

though he had decided to let him go:

그는 그를 놓아주기로 결정했음에도 불구하고

 

아브라함과 이삭과야곱의 하나님, 곧 우리 조상의 하나님은그의 종

예수님을 영광스럽게 하셨습니다. 여러분은 이예수님을 죽이라고 넘

겨주었을 뿐만 아니라 빌라도가 예수님을 놓아주기로 했는데도 여러

분은 빌라도앞에서 그분을 거절했습니다.

 

14.You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that  a

murderer be released to you.

disown: 제 것,책임이 아니라고 말하다, …에 관계가 없다고

the Holy and Righteous One:

거룩하고 의로운 사람

be released: be + pp= 수동형, 풀어질수 있게

 

당신들은 거룩하고 의로운 분을 부인하고, 살인자가 당신들에게 풀려

나기를 요청했습니다.

 

15.You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the  dead.

We are witnesses of this.

the author of life:

생명의 창시자, 창조자

 

너희들은 생명을 주관하시는 분을 죽였다 그러나 하나님께서는 그

를 죽음에서 살려 내셨으며 우리는 다 그 증인이다.

 

해설:

예수님의 사도 중 한 명인 베드로가 행한 연설의 일부로서 그는 예

루살렘 사람들이 예수의 죽음을 초래 했다고 비난하면서도 하나님이

예수를 부활시켰고, 그들이 이 사건의 증인임을 말해주는 내용이다.
