26.A week later his disciples were in the house again, and
Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked,
Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be
with you!"

27.Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my
hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop
doubting and believe."

28.Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"

29.Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you
have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and
yet have believed."

보지않고 믿는자는 복이 있다
yet have believed.":

(오직 이것을 기록함은 너희로 예수께서 하나님의 아들 그리스도
이심을 믿게 하려 함이고 또 너희로 믿고 그 이름을 힘입어 생명을
얻게 하려는 것이다)
해설:
이 구절은 요한복음의 목적을 서술한것이며 예수님의 삶과 죽음,부
활에 대한 이야기가 기록된 이유를 설명하고 있다. "이것들은기록된
것들이다 라는 것은 복음서에 기록된 예수님의 사건과 가르침을 말
하며 이글을 읽는자들은 예수님이 그리스도(메시아)이며 하나님의
아들이라고 믿을 수 있게된다. 이 믿음은 단지 지적인 능력이 아니 고
예수님은 구세주로서 개인이 전적으로 받아들이는 확신이다.
니아가 예수님을 믿음으로써 그분의 이름으로 생명을 가질 수있고
이 영원한 삶은 사람이 예수님을 믿었을 때 바로시작되는 삶의질을
말한다.
