오늘은 그 11번째로서1장의 중요 문항들 재정리.
1)1-1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.
말씀이 계셨고 말씀은 하나님과 함께 께셨으며 그 말씀이 하나
님 이셨다.
2)1-8
He himself was not the light, he came only as a witness to
the light.
그는 이 빛이 아니요 이 빛에 대하여 증언하러 온 자라
he himself:
이와 같이 2개의 대명사가 연 이어저 있을 때는
“그스스로의 그” 와 같이 뒤에 나온 대명사를 먼저 해석한다.
The car the car company produced is excellent:
그 자동차 회사에서 만든 차는
3)1-31에도
I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing
with water was that he might be revealed to Israel."
I myself did not know him: 내자신 나도 그를 몰랐다
that he might be revealed to Israel." :
이스라엘에 나타내어 보여 주기 위함이다
that ~ might, may,will, shall... ~ 하게끔 하려고
4)1-13
Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision
or a husband's will, but born of God.
children born not of natural descent:
직계자손으로 태어난 것이 아님
nor of human decision:
사람의 결정에 의함도 아닌
a husband's will:
남편의 의지(뜻)도
but born of God.
오로지 하나님 에게서 태어났다
이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오
직 하나님 께로부터 난 자들이니라
5)1-18
No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only,
who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
No one has ever seen God,:
여태껏 하나님을 본 사람은 없다
but God the One and Only: 유일하신 하나님
who is at the Father's side: 아버지 곁에 있는 사람
has made him known: 그를 알게 하였다
사역동사 Make, have, let :
주어+make(have, let) +사람+성질(형용사)~ 하게 만들다
has made him known: 그를 알게 하였다.
A.나는 내 여동생을 예쁘게 만들었다
I made my sister pretty
B.그 소식은 그를 슬프게 만들었다.
The news have him sad.
C.그 병은 그를 아프게 했다.
The disease let him sick
6)1-24
Now some Pharisees who had been sent
보냄을 받은 어떤 바리새 사람이
Now:자 (화제를 바꾸거나 부탁을 하기 전에 남의 관심을 끌
기 위해 하는말) 지금, 이제부터, 이제 …이니, 이므로
who had been sent = he had been sent
주어+have been+pp = 주어가 ~ 해 왔다
Has the postman been yet? 우체부가 벌써 왔느냐?
had been sent: 이미 보내어 젔다.
have been+pp에서 더 과거 had been+pp 이미 ~ 되어 젔다

7)1-25
questioned him, "Why then do you baptize if you are not
the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"
A is not --nor --nor : A는-도 아니고 또 ~도 아니다
8)1-28
This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the
Jordan, where John was baptizing.
where John was baptizing: 요한이 침례를 주든곳
9)1-31
I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing
with water was that he might be revealed to Israel."
I myself did not know him: I 와 myself 때는 “내자신인 나”
that - may (might) : ~하게 하려고
10)1-33
I would not have known him, except that the one who sent
me to baptize with water the one who sent me to baptize with water:
물로서 침례를 주라고 한 그 분
11)1-50
Jesus said, "You believe because I told you I saw you
under the fig tree. You shall see greater things than that."
예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 내가 너를 무화과나무 아래에서
보았다 하므로 믿느냐 이보다 더 큰 일을 보리라
You shall see greater things than that.:
네가 본것 보다도 더 큰 것을 보게 될 것이다.
shall 용법:
미래에 보다 확실한 사실을 말할 때 will 대신 shall을쓴다.
you shall see heaven: 네가 하늘을 보게 될 것이다
(네게 하늘을 보여 주겠다)
you will see heaven: 너는 하늘을 볼 것이다.
12)창세기에서도 말씀의 능력을 보여 주고 있습니다.
And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
(하나님이 이르시되 빛이 있으라 하시니 빛이 있었고)(창1:3)
Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation:
seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit
with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it
was so.
(하나님이 이르시되 땅은 풀과 씨 맺는 채소와 각기 종류대로
씨 가진 열매 맺는 나무를 내라 하시니 그대로 되어)(창1:11)
창세기 에서도 이와같이 말씀으로 모든 것을 생성해 내시는
모습에서 그분의 말씀은 참으로 권능을 나타내고 있고 동시에
하나님의 본성을 보여 주고 계신다고 할 수 있겠습니다.
(그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고)
그가 ? 그는 누구일까 ? 하나님과 함께 계시는 그하나님과 당
초부터 함께 계신분은 오직 예수님 뿐이니 여기서는 예수님
을 말하고 있음.
그렇다면 말씀, 하나님, 예수의 3위를 복음 초반에서 모두 소
개하고 있다고 보임니다.
